Original size: W: 8.5" x H: 11"
"Fureai" means friendly in Japanese. I saw a Quan Yin statue at Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto, Japan which you get to touch (usually, you can't touch any statues at temples or shrines). The warmth and friendly energy from the statue gave me some inspiration to draw this picture. I combined my colored pencil drawing style and mandala in this work.
