My Inner Life Mandala

August 30th, 2015

My Inner Life Mandala

About a couple of months ago, I felt something deep inside of me awakened, and that started to make me want to draw my own Inner Life (personal) Mandala.

Usually, when I draw healing mandalas, the energy of the title like “Pachamama” comes through me, and its power amazes me. However, as I was drawing my own Inner Life Mandala, I felt just calmer and a little more expansive than usual, but not very amazing. I was a little disappointed, but when I meditated with it, and also, when I received a Craniosacral Therapy session with it under the massage table, the energy of the mandala came into my body, and my body started to align with it like updating a computer. A little tweaks here and there at the very deep energetic level. I had no idea what exactly was going on, but I just allowed my system to do whatever it needed to do.

Since then, I've been experiencing that my old patterns come to the surface to be released more often, my perception is also getting more expansive, and I feel I'm getting closer to my own truth within.

Pachamama

Pachamama

Usually, some images or designs come to me through my dreams before I draw a mandala. I use the images as a main design of a mandala once I start to draw. Then, I title it.

This time was totally different than the usual process. I really wanted to draw Pachamama, the Great Mother Earth, or I should say Earth Mother. She resides in all the elements, earth, water, fire and air. She created Earth with the moon and the sun. Some people symbolizes her as a dragoness as well. Even though I wanted to draw her so badly, I had no idea where to start. So, I researched on her a little. Still no idea. I meditated on her, but same result, no clue. So, I started to draw anyway by drawing a big circle on my sketchbook with a compass. Then, all of a sudden, I knew what to do next, and next, and next. I was feeling her powerful energy of creation, nurturing and her Divine Feminine energy as I was drawing. Also, I started to see each shape I drew in the mandala represent each element, too like solving a puzzle. That was quite an experience of creation!

I hope this mandala touches your heart as well.

With deep gratitude,

Manifestation

Manifestation

Do you like gardening? I love it! I can pick vegetable, fruit and herb right out of my garden and enjoy the vibrant freshness in my meals. Not only that, but also gardening helps me ground, feel Mother Earth so tangibly and see the power of manifestation right in front of my eyes. I plant seeds in the ground, take care of them with love, water and sunlight and enjoy watching their fruits getting ripe - the flow of manifestation.

I drew it in this mandala: the sun in the middle, green diamonds as seeds, pink V-figure as our hands, blue dots as water and flowers at the edge of the circle.

Take a moment with this mandala, absorb its energy and manifest your dream!!

Rising Above Challenges

Rising Above Challenges

When I was watching a video about Kobe, Japan where a big earthquake hit in 1995, this mandala came to me.

When the earthquake happened, so many buildings, roads, highways... everything in the area fell down, fire happened here and there, and there were thousands of casualties.

However, in the video 18 years after the earthquake, everything was rebuilt, and people there looked so vibrant. I felt the strength and power of the people which we all have within. That made me want to draw this mandala. When the old crumbles down, the blueprint at the core starts to manifest in a larger scale with the power of oneness and transformation.

We all can use the power whenever we face our own challenges. Let go of the old, and allow the truth within to manifest. This mandala can be a great reminder.

Spiritual Heart

Spiritual Heart

My spiritual teacher, who passed away about 20 years ago, taught us that it is very important to open our Hearts. She taught us Heart Meditation.

Just recently, after years of practice of the meditation and lots of lessons and experiences, I have finally started to realize what she was trying to teach us very tangibly. In our Hearts, our authentic selves reside. If we can let go of our false personalities and allow our authentic selves in full faith, we can transform our lives tremendously. From fear to love, from impossibles to possibles, from limitations to freedom...

I drew this mandala as a reminder of her teachings. I'm taking baby steps, but I'm so grateful to be on the path that I have faith in, and this mandala always brings me back to my Heart and reminds me of listening, allowing and acting from there.

Accepting Redemption

Accepting Redemption

I woke up in the middle of the night.
The word, "Redemption," popped in my head.
I went deeper into myself where needed "Redemption," and there they were.
Guilt for what I did in the past or my past lives,
self-shame and hatred,
unforgiveness,
unworthiness,...

With tremendous support of this "Redemption,"
I said to myself, "I fully accept you who you are as you are."
My heart opened a little and became lighter.
It was like the deep and powerful love washing the cuts and bruises on my body away.
My whole body became lighter and warmer and started to expand.
From the painful spots in my body, the trapped energy got drained away.
I felt the bindings started to fall away.

Then, I said to myself,
"I am grateful for all my experiences in the past, which led me to be here as I am right now.
I accept this Redemption with my deepest gratitude.
I am happy.
I am light.
I am love.
I am prosperous.
I am abundant.
I am free."

So is everyone!

The process of drawing Inner Life Mandala

The process of drawing Inner Life Mandala

Just recently, I received an order of a Inner Life Mandala - a personal mandala - from Stephen. The experience during the process was so amazing to me that I thought I should share it so you can grasp some idea about what Inner Life Mandala is.

I always meditate on each theme before starting to draw mandalas, then I make the designs and colors that come to me into a mandala.

So, as usual, I meditated on Stephen to hold space for the wholeness of him with an intention to let his deep qualities and gifts come to the surface. As I opened my eyes and looked at the paper, the main design in the middle (the snow-flake like part) immediately came in details. However, the rest stayed blur, so I had to take a pause for a few days.

One morning, as I woke up from a dream, a word "alchemist" popped into my head, and I somehow knew that the word was about his deep quality. So I sat at the desk and started to draw. After that, I didn't have to think or wonder about anything. My hands just kept drawing and choosing the pens and finished the mandala in a couple of days. It felt like to me that the universe gave me the right information and the right timing to draw.

I received a great feedback from Stephen when he saw the mandala for the first time. I think sharing it can tell you more about the potentials of Inner Life Mandala, so here it is:
-----------------------------
"As you know, your art has been a real inspiration for me and your series – Spiritual Heart, Quan Yin’s Healing and Into One’s Highest was especially comforting during an intensely difficult period beginning this year. But I was totally unprepared for what I received on Friday.

The complexity and depth of what was revealed through this mandala has been a complete and total surprise. I don’t know why it caught me so off guard, but I keep going back to meditate on the revelation and it seems I receive something new from it every time. I realize it’s going to take me some time to really unravel all that’s hidden here, but one thing I do know for sure - there is far more to my inner life, my divine self and the purpose for me being here than I ever thought possible !

Thank you Keiko, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you and your gift in helping us see the better part of ourselves. May you experience all the hope, desire and true intents of your heart is my prayer every day."
------------------------------------

I am so grateful to Stephen for this great feedback, allowing me to share his experience with you all and appreciating deeply the mandala. I am also grateful for being able to be a little help through my artwork.
